献，担当了多人的罪，将来要向那等候他的人第二次显现，并与罪无关，乃是为拯救他们（来9：28）。到那日，人必说：看哪，这是我们的　神，我们素来等候他，他必拯救我们。这是耶和华，我们素来等候他，我们必因他的救恩欢喜快乐（赛25：9）。　　We　look　for　the　Saviour。　　The　grace　of　God　that　bringeth　salvation　hath　appeared　to　men；　teaching　us　that；　denying　ungodliness　and　worldly　lusts；　should　live　soberly；　righteously；　and　godly；　in　this　present　world；　looking　for　that　blessed　hope；　and　the　glorious　appearing　of　the　great　God　and　our　Saviour　Jesus　Christ；　who　gave　himself　us；　that　he　might　redeem　us　from　all　iniquity；　and　purify　unto　himself　a　peculiar　people；　zealous　of　good　works。　—　We；　according　to　his　promise；　look　for　new　heavens　and　a　new　earth；　wherein　dwelleth　righteousness。　Wherefore；　beloved；　seeing　that　ye　look　for　such　things；　be　diligent　that　ye　may　be　found　of　him　in　peace；　without　spot；　and　blameless。

　　活物的生命是在血中，我把这血赐给你们，可以在坛上为你们的生命赎罪。因血里有生命，所以能赎罪（利17：11）。

　　但愿我有翅膀象鸽子，我就飞去得享安息（诗55：6）。　　　日头出来的时候，　神安排炎热的东风，日头爆晒约拿的头，使他发昏，他就为自己求死，说：我死了比活着还好（拿4：8）。　　　约伯说：受患难的人为何有光赐给他呢？心中愁苦的人为何有生命赐给他呢？他们切望死，却不得死；求死，胜于求隐藏的珍宝（伯3：2，20，21）。　　　义人多有苦难，但耶和华救他脱离这一切（诗34：19）。　我现在心里忧愁，我说什么才好呢？父啊，救我脱离这时候（约12：27）。所以，他凡事该与他的弟兄相同，为要在　神的事上成为慈悲忠信的大祭司，为百姓的罪献上挽回祭。他自己既然被试探而受苦，就能搭救被试探的人（来2：17，18）。　　Oh　that　I　had　wings　like　a　dove！　for　then　would　I　fly　away；　and　be　at　rest。
