他们要奉我的名为以色列人祝福，我也要赐福给他们（民6：27）。 我们好像你未曾治理的人，又像未曾得称你名下的人（赛63：19）。耶和华我们的 神啊，在你以外曾有别的主管辖我们，但我们专要倚靠你，提你的名（赛26：13）。天下万民见你归在耶和华的名下，就要惧怕你（申28：10）。耶和华既喜悦选你们作他的子民，就必因他的大名不撇弃你们（撒上工2：22）。求主垂听，求主赦免，求主应允而行，为你自己不要迟延。我的 神啊，因这城和这民，都是称为你名下的（但9：19）。拯救我们的 神啊，求你因你名的荣耀帮助我们，为你名的缘故搭救我们，赦免我们的罪。为何容外邦人说：他们的 神在哪里呢（诗79：9，10）？耶和华的名是坚固台，义人奔入，便得安稳（箴18：10）。 They shall put my name upon the childen of Isael； and I will bless them。 O LORD our God； other lords beside thee have had dominion over us： but by thee only will we make mention of thy name。 — We are thine： thou never barest rule over them； they were not called by thy name。

诸天述说 神的荣耀，穹苍传扬他的手段（诗19：1）。 自从造天地以来， 神的永能和 神性是明明可知的，虽是眼不能见，但藉着所造之物就可以晓得，叫人无可推诿（罗1：20）。为自己未尝不显出证据来（徒14：17）。这日到那日发出言语，这夜到那夜传出知识。无言无语，也无声音可听（诗19：2，3）。我观看你指头所造的天，并你所陈设的月亮星宿，便说，人算什么，你竟顾念他？世人算什么，你竟眷顾他（诗8：3，4）？日有日的荣光，月有月的荣光，星有星的荣光。这星和那星的荣光也有分别。死人复活也是这样（林前15：41，42）。 智慧人必发光，如同天上的光；那使多人归义的，必发光如星，直到永永远远（但12：3）。 The heavens declare the glory of God； and the firmament sheweth his handywork。 The invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen； being understood by the things that are made； even his eternal power and Godhead。 — He left not himself without witness。 — Day unto day uttereth speech； and night unto night sheweth knowledge。 There is no speech nor language； where their voice is not heard。 When I consider thy heavens； the work of thy fingers； the moon and the stars； which thou hast ordained； what is man； that thou art mindful of him？ and the son of man； that thou visitest him？ There is one glory of the sun； and another glory of the moon； and another glory of the stars： for one star differeth from another star in glory。 So also is the resurrection of the dead。 — They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament； and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever。 PSA。 19：1。 Rom。 1：20。 …Acts。 14：17。 …Psa。 19：2；3。 Psa。 8：3；4。 I Cor。 15：41；42。 …Dan。 12：3。

主为我们舍命，我们从此就知道何为爱（约壹3：16）。
基督的爱是过于人所能测度的（弗3：18，19）。人为朋友舍命，人的爱心没有比这个大的（约15：13）。你们知道我们主耶稣基督的恩典；他本来富足，却为你们成了贫穷，叫你们因他的贫穷，可以成为富足（林后8：9）。亲爱的弟兄啊， 神既是这样爱我们，我们也当彼此相爱（约壹4：11）。要以恩慈相待，存怜悯的心，彼此饶恕，正如 神在基督里饶恕了你们一样（弗4：32）。倘若这人与那人有嫌隙，总要彼此包容，彼此饶恕；主怎样饶恕了你们，你们也要怎样饶恕人（西3：13）。因为人子来，并不是要受人的服待，乃是要服待人，并且要舍命，作多人的赎价（可10：45）。基督也为你们受过苦，给你们留下榜样，叫你们跟随他的脚踪行（彼前2：21）。我是你们的主，你们的夫子，尚且洗你们的脚，你们也当彼此洗脚。我给你们作了榜样，叫你们照着我向你们所作的去作（约13：14，15）。我们也当为弟兄舍命（约壹3：16）。 Hereby perceive we the love of God； because he laid down his life for us。 The love of Christ； which passeth knowledge。 — Greater love hath no man than this； that a man lay down his life for his friends。 Ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ； that； though he was rich； yet for your sakes he became poor； that ye through his poverty might be rich。 — Beloved； if God so loved us； we ought also to love one another。 — Be ye kind one to another； tender…hearted； forgiving one another； even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you。 — Forbearing one another； and forgiving one another； if any man have a quarrel against any： even as Christ forgave you； so also do ye。 — For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto； but to minister； and to give his life a ransom for many。 — Christ 。。。 suffered for us； leaving us an example； that ye should follow his steps。 Ye also ought to wash one another’s feet。 For I have given you an example； that ye should do as I have done to you。 — We ought to lay down our lives for the brethren。 I JOHN 3：16。 Eph。 3：19。 …John 15：13。 …II Cor。 8：9。 …I John 4：11。 …Eph。 4：32。 …Col。 3：13。 …Mark 10：4；5。 …I Pet。 2：21。 John 13：14；15。 …I John 3：16。

父所作的事，子也照样作（约5：19）。 耶和华赐人智慧，知识和聪明都由他口而出（箴2：6）。我必赐你们口才智慧，是你们一切敌人所敌不住、驳不倒的（路21：15）。要等候耶和华！当壮胆，坚固你的心（诗27：14）。我的恩典够你用的，因为我的能力是在人的软弱上显得完全（林后12：9）。那被召、在父 神里蒙爱的人（犹1）。因那使人成圣的和那些得以成圣的，都是出于一；所以他称他们为弟兄，也不以为耻（来2：11）。耶和华说：我岂不充满天地吗（耶23：24）？那充满万有者所充满的（弗1：23）。惟有我是耶和华，除我以外没有救主（赛43：11）。这真是救世主（约4：42）。愿恩惠、平安从父 神和我们的救主基督耶稣归与你（多l：4）！

他知道我所行的路，他试炼我之后，我必如精金（伯23：10）。 他知道我们的本体（诗103：14）。他并不甘心使人受苦，使人忧愁（耶哀3：33）。 神坚固的根基立住了。上面有这印记说：主认识谁是他的人。又说：凡称呼主名的人总要离开不义。在大户人家，不但有金器银器，也有木器瓦器，有作为贵重的，有作为卑贱的。人若自洁，脱离卑贱的事，就必作贵重的器皿，成为圣洁，合乎主用，预备行各样的善事（提后2：19…21）。 他必坐下如炼净银子的，必洁净利未人，熬炼他们像金银一样，他们就凭公义献供物给耶和华（玛3：3）。我要熬炼他们，如熬炼银子；他们必求告我的名，我必应允他们。我要说：这是我的子民。他们也要说：耶和华是我们的 神（亚13：9）。 He knoweth the way that I take： when he hath tried me； I shall e forth as gold。 He knoweth our frame。 — He doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men。 The foundation of God standeth sure； having this seal； The Lord knoweth them that are his。 And； Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity。 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver； but also of wood and of earth； and some to honour； and some to dishonour。 If a man therefore purge himself from these； he shall be a vessel unto honour； sanctified； and meet for the master's use； and prepared unto every good work。

耶和华啊，求你将你的道指示我，将你的路教训我（诗25：4）。 摩西对耶和华说：我如今若在你眼前蒙恩，求你将你的道指示我，使我可以认识你……。耶和华说：我必亲自和你同去，使你得安息（出33：12…14）。 他使摩西知道他的法则，叫以色列人晓得他的作为（诗103：7）。 他必按公平引领谦卑人，将他的道教训他们。谁敬畏耶和华，耶和华必指示他当选择的道路（诗25：9，12）。你要专心仰赖耶和华，不可倚靠自己的聪明，在你一切所行的事上，都要认定他，他必指引你的路（箴3：5，6）。你必将生命的道路指示我。在你面前有满足的喜乐，在你右手中有永远的福乐（诗16：11）。我要教导你，指示你当行的路；我要定睛在你身上劝戒你（诗32：8）。义人
