housekeeper　had　been　weeping；　but　she　smiled　at　Tom　through　her　tears。　

　　　　　〃I　think　he's　going　to　get　well；〃　she　whispered。　She　always　looked　on　

the　bright　side　of　things。　Tom's　heart　felt　better。
