Cultural events will unfold each year； from 2005 to 2008。 We will stage multi…disciplined cultural programs； such as concerts； exhibitions； art petitions and camps which will involve young people from around the world。 During the Olympics； they will be staged in the Olympic Village and the city for the benefit of the athletes。
Our Ceremonies will give China's greatest…and the world's greatest artists a stage for celebrating the mon aspirations of humanity and the unique heritage of our culture and the Olympic Movement。
With a concept inspired by the famed Silk Road； our Torch Relay will break new ground； traveling from Olympia through some of the oldest civilizations known to man…Greek； Roman； Egyptian； Byzantine； Mesopotamian； Persian； Arabian； Indian and Chinese。 Carrying the message 〃Share the Peace； Share the Olympics；〃 the eternal flame will reach new heights as it crosses the Himalayas over the world's highest summit … Mount Qomolangma； which is known to many of you as Mt。 Everest。 In China； the flame will pass through Tibet； cross the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers； travel the Great Wall and visit Hong Kong； Macau； Taiwan and the 56 ethnic munities who make up our society。 On its journey； the flame will be seen by and inspire more human beings than any previous relay。
I am afraid I can not present the whole picture of our cultural programs within such a short period of time。 Before I end； let me share with you one story。 Seven hundred years ago； amazed by his incredible descriptions of a far away land of great beauty； people asked Marco Polo whether his stories about China were true。He answered： What I have told you was not even half of what I saw。 Actually； what we have shown you here today is only a fraction of Beijing that awaits you。
Ladies and gentlemen； I believe that Beijing will prove to be a land of wonders to athletes； spectators and the worldwide television audience alike。 e and join us。

主席先生，女士们，先生们，下午好！
在向各位介绍我们的安排之前，我想先告诉大家，你们2008年将在北京渡过愉快的时光。
北京是一座充满活力的现代都市，三千年的历史文化与都市的繁荣相呼应，除了紫禁城、天坛和万里长城这几个标志性的建筑，北京拥有无数的戏院、博物馆，各种各样的餐厅和歌舞场所，这一切的一切都会令您感到惊奇和高兴。
我相信在座的许多人都曾为李安的奥斯卡获奖影片《卧虎藏龙》所吸引，这仅仅是我们文化的一小部分，还有众多的文化宝藏等待着你们去挖掘。
除此之外，北京城里还有千千万万友善的人民，热爱与世界各地的人民相处，无论是过去还是现在，北京历来是各个民族和各种文化的汇集地，北京人民相信，在北京举办2008年奥运会，将推动我们文化和全世界文化的交流。
在我们的计划当中，教育和交流将是我们的希望，我们期待在全国尤其是数百万青少年中，留下一笔精神财富。
从2005年到2008年我们每年定期举办文化活动，我们将开展多元文化活动，举办世界青少年和表演家参加的音乐会，这些文化活动同时在奥运村和全市范围内展开，以方便运动员的参加。
我们的开闭幕式，将是展现中国杰出作家、导演和作曲家的舞台，讴歌人类的共同理想，以及我们独特的奥林匹克运动。
基于丝绸之路带来的灵感，我们的火炬接力，将途经希腊、埃及、罗马、美索布达米亚，波斯、印度和中国，以共享和平、共享奥运为主题，“奥运”这一永恒不惜的火炬，将跨越世界最高峰——珠穆朗玛峰，从而达到最高的高度，中国的奥运圣活将通过西藏，穿过长江和黄河，踏上长城，途经香港、澳门、台湾，在组成我们国家的56个民族中传递。通过这样的路线，我们保证目睹这次火炬接力的人们，会比任何一次都多。
700年前，马可波罗曾对中国的美丽有过惊奇的描述。有人问马可波罗，你的有关中国的描述是真的吗？他说，我只不过将我所见到的跟你们描述了一半而已。
女士们，先生们，我相信北京和中国将向运动员、观众和全世界的电视观众证明，这是一块神奇的土地。

Respected teacher； dear schoolmate； everybody is good！ I am XX。 I am honored very much today； can stand on the platform； is campaigning for class leader together with schoolmates； hoped that schoolmates support me。 I first thank teacher for me this opportunity； lets me be able to demonstrate own talent in this stage。 This time campaigns for class leader； I am the process give careful consideration only then make the decision。 Because I have had work as class leader's desire； but does not have the opportunity throughout。 When I hear may campaign for class leader； my mood is inparably excited； wishes one could immediately this news to tell each person。 From the very beginning； father and mother very support me； afterward they opposed identically； said： “like this will affect your study…” I said： “from the participation； I wants to try again； to look that I do have this ability！”After several relapse's ideological struggles； I decided that certainly must campaign for； certainly must work as class leader！ I like； I choose！ I campaign for class leader's goal handle class's and grade's each kind of matter； does well between schoolmate's relations。 Class leader is a class collective lead goat； has the responsibility to manage the good class and grade business； everywhere maintains the good class and grade honor。 Schoolmate who does not study regarding these； carries on the prompt advice。 If I can work as class leader； I meet treat each schoolmate equally； to teacher reported that schoolmates' opinion； transmits teacher's difficulties to the student。 I guarantee at any time； in any situation； thought that “schoolmates thought that anxious schoolmates anxious”； If I am class leader； I will study by oneself in the class to prevent schoolmate who these speeches and will make the petty action randomly； will let study by oneself the class maintains peaceful； When between schoolmate has the contradiction； I can think Baogong such； unselfish； plains about in vain a good person in no way； also lets off an unprincipled person in no way。 The initiative mediation contradiction； turns swords into plowshares； If I have been elected as class leader； I will lead everybody； will handle the meaningful matter； to have difficulty schoolmate to offer the passion。 “the train runs quickly； depends entirely on the vehicle head harness”！ If I have worked as class leader； I am willing to work as a small ox； diligent； bears the burden of responsibility； serves wholeheartedly for everybody！ In the usual life； I will set an example； everywhere will play the model leading role； the good study method； the good custom will give everybody； will progress together！ Is teacher in the eye the good student； is in the parents heart's good child； is schoolmate the side the good partner。 Schoolmate ； please throw a that sacred ticket for me； although I now am not most outstanding； but I in the future will certainly be best！ my lecture； has thanked everybody！
爱的老师，亲爱的同学，大家好！我是XX。
今天我很荣幸，能够站在讲台上，和同学们在一起竞选班长，希望同学们支持我。
我首先感谢老师给我这个机会，让我能够在这个舞台上展示自己的才华。这一次竞选班长，我是经过慎重考虑才做出决定的。因为我一直都有当班长的愿望，但始终没有机会。当我听到可以竞选班长时，我的心情无比激动，恨不得马上把这个消息告诉每一个人。一开始，爸爸妈妈都挺支持我，后来他们一致反对，说：“这样会影响你的学习…”我说：“重在自参与，我想试试，看我有没有这个能力！”经过几次反复的思想斗争，我决定一定要去竞选，一定要当上班长！我喜欢，我选择！
我竞选班长的目的是处理好班级的各种事情，搞好同学之间的关系。班长是一个班集体的领头羊，有责任管理好班级事务，处处维护好班级荣誉。对于那些不学习的同学，进行及时的劝告。如果我能当上班长，我会平等地对待每一位同学，向老师反映同学们的意见，向学生传达老师的苦衷。我保证在任何时候，在任何情况下，想“同学们之所想，急同学们之所急”；假如我是班长，我会在自习课上阻止那些说话和乱做小动作的同学，让自习课保持安静；当同学之间发生矛盾时，我会想包公那样，大公无私，决不怨枉一个好人，也决不放过一个坏人。主动调解矛盾，化干戈为玉帛；如果我当选了班长，我会带领大家，做有意义的事情，为有困难的同学奉献爱心。
“火车跑得快，全靠车头带”！如果我当上了班长，我愿当一头小黄牛，勤勤恳恳，任劳任怨，全心全意为大家服务！在平时的生活中，我会以身作则，处处起到模范带头作用，把好的学习方法，好的习惯送给大家，共同进步！做老师眼里的好学生，做父母心中的好孩子，做同学身边的好伙伴。
同学们，请将那神圣的一票投给我吧，虽然我现在不是最优秀的，但我将来一定是最棒的！

拿破仑有句名言：“不想当将军的士兵不是好士兵”。
我认为，班长不只是个称号，不只是个光环，它背后有实质性的内容，与同学们息息相关。所以，假若我当选，我不会让这个“长”成为一个虚名。
班长应该是架在老师与同学之间的一座桥梁，是老师的得力助手。不过，我得先从自我做起，严格要求自己，起表率作用；其次，我会在任何时候、任何情况下，都能想同学们之所想，急同学们之所急，敢于坚持原则，敢于积极为同学们谋求正当的权益。班长作为一个班集体的带头人物，我有能力处理好班级的各种事务。
人人都有志向，人人都积极主动为他人服务。我们只有不断实践，才能形成良好的校�
